1. The Consulting Engineer According to the FIDIC Form of Contract for Works of Civil Engineering Construction: His Legal Status and Civil Liability' (LLM dissertation, Kuwait University, 1997).  Dissertation received the examining committee’s recommendation for publication (this was the first LLM dissertation to be reviewed by the Kuwait University’s Journal of Law, 24, no. 1, March 2000).

2.  'Post-Construction Liabilities for Latent Defects in Building and Construction Contracts: The Theoretical Foundations and the Allocation of Risk – A Comparative Study in Kuwaiti, French, and English Law', (PhD thesis, University of Essex, 2004). The thesis is a  Comparative Study in Kuwaiti, French, and English Law. It was reviewed in the Kuwait University’s Journal of Law, 1, Year 30 (March 2006).
